Interview Q&A How long have you been in business?
I have been in the baby equipment rental business for almost 16 years....after working as an independent contractor for so many years, I decided to venture out on my own with Georgia Baby Rentals, LLC, which opened in the summer of 2015.

What is your primary product or service?
We are a delivery service renting all types of baby equipment for traveling families..from cribs, carseats and high chairs to toys and pak n plays. We specialize in full size cribs and carseats. We are fully insured.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
About 16 years ago I had a friend who introduced me to the baby equipment industry. Having been a nanny in college, and earning my money as a babysitter on Sea Island Ga during my high school years..I have always been interested in children and ways to make it easier when traveling. When I found out about renting equipment, I was instantly interested.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service is the key. I pride myself on providing prompt, friendly customer service to my clients and treating my staff with respect and fairness. So many companies out there don't really care about their staff..only the money. If you treat people the way you would like to be treated good things come.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Right now I have two delivery locations, 1 serving the metro Atlanta area, Athens and Lake Oconee...the 2nd delivery location serving the Jacksonville Florida area from Amelia Island to St Augustine. The 3rd Location is opening in Blue Ridge GA in October 2015... We do plan expansion in 2016 into other areas.

We are a delivery only service at present..with plans to open a walk in facility in early 2016.

We accept all major credit cards.

Which areas do you service?
We serve all of metro Atlanta including Lake Oconee and Athens....in addition, we serve the Jacksonville Florida area from Amelia Island to St Augustine...And Blue Ridge Ga deliveries beginning in October 2015.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Independently owned by me... run it, market, and handle all daily operations..

What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday thru Saturday from 9 to 5 pm....but you can email us any time, georgiababyrentals@gmail.com, I will respond as quickly as possible.

The best compliment I could ever receive is that the client was happy with the service and their children loved our products.
