How long have you been in business?
Translation Station began operations in June, 1998 and incorporated in June, 1999.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer foreign language interpreting services - onsite interpreting, telephone interpreting, simultaneous conference interpreting; document translation services; narration services - ex: IVR scripts; voice overs; desktop publishing.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a widowed, single mother of a young child, and needed to take control of my own financial destiny. I realized that translation/interpreting services were going to become very important to most industries. I didn't have experience as a business owner, but decided to try it. I have now been in business for 17 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service and relationship building are some of our strong points.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, and we are preparing to relocate to a larger office.
